Frequently asked questions

Before we begin.

Can Veridon sign off a settlement agreement for an employee?

No. An employee requires advice from an appropriate independent adviser for the statutory conditions to be met. Veridon acts as a consultancy for employers and will not present itself as the employee's independent legal adviser.

Can you negotiate terms?

We can support the employer's commercial planning and communications within the agreed non-reserved scope. We identify where regulated legal input is required.

Is a settlement agreement always the best route?

No. We compare it with the available process options, likely cost, disruption and relationship impact before recommending a route.
